The company isn’t generating a good deal of sounds about it just now, but from this letter it sent to the Federal Communications Fee past 7 days, and a license that the agency granted the Elon Musk-fronted business past November, it is crystal clear that the Falcon nine rocket that will get off on Saturday will carry two Starlink satellites along with Mexico’s Paz mission payload.

Why? to establish an ISP and generate dollars to fund missions to Mars, of training course.

It’ll be fascinating to see what will become of this initial start, as it is ahead of the timetable laid out before the US Senate. Joy Dunn, the company’s Senior Manager of New Item Introduction, hinted at a satellite start in a now-deleted tweet previously this 7 days heading by SpaceX’s tweets, it seems like the mission is a-go and will start from Vandenberg Air Pressure Foundation at six:17AM PT on February seventeen.
