Much more than a million people today have signed an on-line petition contacting on Snapchat to undo a redesign to the application.

The update, which was introduced final week, separates articles and interactions with mates from community and branded articles from information expert services and other businesses.

But end users are urging the picture and video-sharing application to revert “back again to the basics”, slamming the changes as “aggravating”.

“Many end users have uncovered that it has not created the application a lot easier to use, but has in actuality created many characteristics much more tricky,” the petition claims.

“There is a typical level of annoyance among the end users and many have determined to use a VPN application, or are employing other risky applications or steps, to go back again to the old Snapchat as that’s how aggravating this new update has turn out to be.

The petition from the update was commenced by Australian consumer Nic Rumsey and posted on the Change.org web page.
