Sony still hasn’t announced its line-up for December’s Games with Gold, but an announcement could be coming soon.
Typically, Sony announces the games that come to the service on the last Wednesday of the month, meaning we’re only two days away from a prospective announcement.
However, we’ve seen the games list leaked quite a lot in the past – usually in the week leading up to the official announcement.
So we could see what Sony has to offer for December quite soon.
In the past, leaks have come from promotional posters via European distributors, early tweets from Sony itself, and tips from industry insiders.
PlayStation fans over on the PS4 subreddit have correctly predicted the games lineup in months past – leading some to believe there’s an insider that posts there – and this month the predictions also look likely.
Some redditors are theorising that Watch Dogs, Battlefield 4, Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, Shadow of Mordor or Dishonoured as could be released as new PS4 free games.
But there’s a chance we could get an Uncharted game, too: the series is celebrating its 10th anniversary this month.
We’ll keep you updated as soon as anything is officially announced – but for now you might want to download November’s games (seen below), since these will lose their free status when December’s games go live.
Sony has also made its Black Friday discounts and offers available on the store early for PS Plus subscribers, and will be live until the end of the day today.
The deals live on the PlayStation Store include all current PlayStation platforms – from PS4 to PSVR, PS3 to PS Vita.
Titles like Wolfenstein II, GT Sport and The Evil Within 2 are all already down to £25.
“If you’re a fan of GT Sport, FIFA 18, The Witcher 3, Assassin’s Creed Origins, and many more, you can save up to 60% off some big names,” Sony explains.
“If you aren’t already a PlayStation Plus member but want to get early access to the Black Friday offers, as well as taking advantage of the membership benefits, we are discounting the 12 month subscription by 25% for all players on PlayStation Store until 28th November.”
Sony has confirmed that all the discounts live on the store will be active over the weekend, and we be removed after Cyber Monday.
Capcom has announced that PlayStation 4 PS+ subscribers are going to get even more perks as part of their subscription this month.
According to the publisher, you will be able to play Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite for free between November 24 and November 27.
Capcom and Sony note that only Casual Match can be played in this Demo – players cannot play offline matches.
You can select your favourite character and test them out in Training Mode in between bouts, however.
It’s a nice bonus if you haven’t played the game yet and perhaps wanted to try the title before you buy.
The trial will expire later today, so it’s worth downloading now if you want to test the new fighting game out.
You can download the trial from this link.
