Life Is Strange developer Dontnod is reportedly in discussions with a major publisher to make two new games.
According to a story from the French publication Le Figaro (translation via Resetera), Dontnod is in talks to launch two new IPs. However, not much is currently known about these mystery projects.
Dontnod is looking to ensure it’s able to continue to partially fund its future games, and as such the studio has taken the first steps toward going public on Euronext Growth, which is the European stock exchange. It recently registered with the French regulator Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) before it goes public soon.
Dontnod already has several projects in the works. It’s next upcoming game Vampyr is coming out on June 5 for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Meanwhile, the studio is also developing the sequel to Life is Strange and a new narrative-based adventure game with Bandai Namco.
