Fortnite Battle Royale players should know the score by now when it comes to the games weekly challenges.
However, for the sake of any of those brand new iOS iPhone and iPad players, let us give you a helping hand with a quick explainer, which you’ll find below the gallery underneath.
Now, back to business. Those of you who know about the Weekly Challenges might be interested to know that the Week 7 Challenges have reportedly leaked.
We’ll take this info with a small grain of salt, because, who knows, maybe Epic will change it at the last minute. However, should this leak be legit, here’s a look at the potential Week 7 Challenges coming tomorrow:
Fortnite Battle Royale Week 7 challenges:
• Deal damage with shotguns to opponents – 5 Stars
• Suppressed weapon eliminations – 5 Stars
• Search Chests in Lonely Lodge – 5 Stars
• Eliminate opponents in Shifty Shafts – 5 Stars
• Search a Chest, Ammo Box, and Supply Drop in a single match (Hard) – 10 Stars
• Search the Hidden Gnome in different named locations (Hard) – 10 Stars
• Follow the Treasure Map found in Retail Row (Hard) – 10 Stars
The new challenges for Week 6 normally leak during the game’s downtime or just after the conclusion of the downtime. Either way, stay tuned and we’ll bring you details of the new Season 3 Week 6 challenges the second they’re revealed.
FORTNITE CHALLENGES EXPLAINED
New to the game? Want to know how those weekly Battle Pass challenges work? Read on:
Each week a new set of seven challenges unlock, replacing the Season 2 Battle Pass daily challenges. The Weekly Challenges stack and can be completed any time before the season ends.
So if you go on holiday and miss one week, you can still complete them when you get back.
Although there are seven challenges each week, you can only complete four out of the seven Weekly Challenges to unlock your rewards, so choose the challenges that best fit your style and those offering the most Battle Stars.
Why complete the challenges? Well, it helps you move up the Season 3 Battle Pass tiers even faster in the game. Move up faster, unlock more rewards, skins and other bonuses is quicker.
There are a total of 100 tiers in Season 3, so if you want to unlock as much loot as possible you better get a shift on and get to work completing the challenge
All possible locations spotted so far
News of these new weekly challenges coincides with the games new 3.4 update and the addition of LOTS of Vending Machines to the map.
Here’s the rundown on Vending Machines, according to Epic, via the developer’s official blog:
“Got materials to spare? Spend them at Vending Machines, now found in many locations across the island. Each Vending Machine offers 3 different deals, rarity and items chosen at random.”
Apparently, these Vending Machines appear in the map at random, but based on what some users have found, they always seem to appear in roughly the same locations.
So every time you start a new match, there will be a set amount of areas a Vending Machine can spawn. Think of them like chests: the Machines don’t appear in every location in every game, but instead spawn occasionally in different places.
Here’s where players have reported seeing Vending Machines so far:
• Pleasant Park
• Tilted Towers
• Salty Springs
• To the left of Dusty Depot
• Tomato Town
• Lonely Lodge
• Flush Factory
• Lucky Landing
• To the left of Fatal Fields
Check out the gallery above for a better look at what they look like, how they work and also the most likely places you’ll find them in the Battle Royale map.
