FORTNITE WEEK 10 UPDATE
The Fortnite Week 10 Battle Royale Challenges are now LIVE and ready for players to undertake in order to finish their Season 3 Battle Pass.
It’s also worth noting that the previously leaked tasks released earlier this week from Fortnite Tracker have been verified. No changes at the last minute to worry about this week.
Compared to previous weeks, the new challenges are a little tame, but then again, given how most people have probably reached the pinnacle of their Battle Pass, we doubt everyone is still clamouring for that last remaining XP.
Still, if you’re new to the game and want details on what the new challenges are, read on and remember that in most cases you will need to finish a game for your achievement to be logged.
You can’t, for instance, eliminate 10 opponents and then just log off. You need to finish the game. Either with a sweet victory royale, or your untimely demise at the hands of someone else.
ORIGINAL STORY – Fortnite Season 4 is fast approaching, but before we get to that, players still have the Season 3 Week 10 Challenges to complete when they go live later today.
Unusually for a Thursday, there is no downtime or content updates to the game. That was all concluded on Tuesday with the v3.6 update which launched.
So, barring any hiccups, the Week 10 challenges should go live early this morning, around 10am-11am BST. Thankfully though, we already know what challenges exist thanks to another leaked list from FortniteTracker.
Once again, there is a 4,000XP reward for completing the challenges and if you want a quick bit of info on how the challenges work (maybe you’re new to the game, you’ll find that at the bottom of the page.

Of course, while players will no doubt be excited at the prospect of plenty of new challenges to complete later today, it’s worth mentioning that the majority of players are still scratching their heads over the games recent emergency TV broadcasts.
If you missed the news, then here is a quick recap:
A rooftop in Tilted Towers changed with the v3.6 update, turning it into a sort of make-shift campsite.
There’s a few sofa’s and chairs, a telescope pointed at the meteor and interestingly, an array of painted signs, all with some sort of icon.
This included a meteor, a heart shape with Tilted Towers inside, another heart shape with what looks like a UFO and a fourth and final one with cryptic message pointing towards what would happen, the next day…
Then, on Wednesday:
The TV on the same rooftop has changed to look like what appears to be an emergency broadcast. In fact according to Redditors, it’s being broadcast on every TV across the entire map (see below).
The same image is now adorning the header of Fortnite’s official Twitter account.
Later it was revealed that the sound from the TV was morse code, revealing the message “They don’t want us to k…”
It’s clear, whatever it is Epic Games are planning, that something BIG is underway and we may learn more today…
FORTNITE CHALLENGES EXPLAINED
New to the game? Want to know how those weekly Battle Pass challenges work? Read on:
Each week a new set of seven challenges unlock, replacing the Season 2 Battle Pass daily challenges. The Weekly Challenges stack and can be completed any time before the season ends.
So if you go on holiday and miss one week, you can still complete them when you get back.
Although there are seven challenges each week, you can only complete four out of the seven Weekly Challenges to unlock your rewards, so choose the challenges that best fit your style and those offering the most Battle Stars.
Why complete the challenges? Well, it helps you move up the Season 3 Battle Pass tiers even faster in the game. Move up faster, unlock more rewards, skins and other bonuses is quicker.
There are a total of 100 tiers in Season 3, so if you want to unlock as much loot as possible you better get a shift on and get to work completing the challenge
