Disney has produced a new trailer for its adaptation of Madeleine L’Engle’s A Wrinkle in Time. This new trailer focuses on Meg Murry (played by 12 Yrs a Slave’s Storm Reid), a younger woman who’s owning difficulties at faculty after her father mysteriously vanishes.
We’ve gotten glimpses of the attractive environment in Ava DuVernay’s future movie in a pair of trailers, which laid the groundwork for the story: Meg’s father Alexander is a scientist who created the Tesseract, which allows him to wrinkle time and travel across the universe.
This new trailer shows off the outcomes of his disappearance: Meg’s teachers and mates are nervous about her at faculty. Just after she explains her father’s function to her mate, Calvin O’Keefe (Levi Miller), he remarks that she must skip him a lot. “More than everything in the universe,” she tells him. That sets off a journey to figure out wherever he finished up: she satisfies three witches, Mrs Whatsit, Mrs Which, and Mrs Who (Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, and Mindy Kaling, respectively), who notify her that her father has done a thing amazing, but that he now needs support.
A Winkle in Time hits theaters on March 9th.
